I am a UX Designer with a degree in Graphic Design from Boston University. I started my career as a Web Design Consultant at Castle Square Tenants Organization, a non-profit community management company. In this role, I developed a new design for their website, sharpening my time management and communication skills along the way.
I aligned the site with their branding, took program photos, and collaborated closely with program managers to refresh the content. Leading weekly meetings with the Board of Directors reinforced the importance of collaboration and feedback. I loved bringing clients' visions to life and witnessing how design can positively impact a community.
Since then, I further developed my UX competency through DesignLab’s UX Academy program. This included user-centered UX methods and tools such as user research, wireframes, prototypes and testing. The most exciting part was wireframing; seeing my ideas take shape was incredibly rewarding.
Looking ahead, I'm eager to embrace new challenges and continue learning and growing. In a year, I see myself collaborating with a team on projects that prioritize user needs and create meaningful solutions. My goal is to blend my graphic design background with my passion for user-centered design, ultimately moving into roles that include both analytic and creative work.
